DEATH NOTICE: Danny Mombourquette, brother of ROFFA member Paul Mombourquette and uncle of Firefighter Mathieu Mombourquette passed away suddenly at age 67

It is with deep sadness we announce the sudden passing of Danny Mombourquette on January 25, 2026, in Wakefield, Quebec. He is pre-deceased by his parents Paul and Fern (Terry) Mombourquette and sister-in-law Hélène. He leaves to mourn his brothers and sisters, Tim (Jenny), Paul, Cindy, Robin and nephews Cody, Mathieu (Samantha), Eric (Kathleen), Justin and niece Thia (Taliesin). Danny also leaves to mourn many friends including his much-loved Wakefield community.

The family will host a celebration of life in the spring with details to follow.

Danny meant a great deal to so many people. We appreciate the outpouring of love and support and are grateful to his friends for planning other events in his honour.
