Jess dedicated his entire career to working with Hydro. Outside of work, he was an avid hunter and fisherman who also loved snowmobiling and camping. He found great joy in flying as a private pilot and staying connected as a CB and Ham Radio operator. His retirement years were truly idyllic, spent with his beloved wife, Joan, at Flower Lake. There, he poured his energy into improving their property, fixing anything that needed attention, and cherishing time at old-time fiddle dances where he enjoyed calling squares. He also loved to travel, and above all, to visit with his many dear friends.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Perth Community Care Centre, especially Julie and Cindy, for their kindness to Jess over the past two years. A special thank you to Lorraine Hickson for her help as well.
