BRÛLÉ, Paul Brian Wayne

June 10, 1944-October 15, 2025


It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of retired Lieutenant Brian Brûlé- Ottawa Fire Services, peacefully at his home at the age of 81, with his loving wife Vicki (Leafloor) by his side. Brian was the proud father of Paul, Anna Marie (Richard Clarke), Sandra (Chris Carter) and the cherished grandfather of Leah, Robyn (Brian Amm), Connor, Olivia, Rory, Wyatt, the late Nicholas, Abigail and great-grandpa of Easton.


Brian was predeceased by his father, Paul, his mother Elsie (Laughren), and his sisters, Emmaline (late Doug White) and Gayle (Robert Faubert). He will be forever remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.


The family extends sincere gratitude to the doctors, nurses and PSW’s for their compassionate care. Special thank you to his extended family and friends for their unwavering support and kindness.


Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home-Kanata Chapel, 580 Eagleson Road, Kanata on Monday, October 20, 2025 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Tuesday, October 21st, 2025, at 11 a.m. Interment St. Paul’s Cemetery, Richmond. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Dementia Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County would be appreciated by the family.   • SPECIAL NOTE

 

Brian’s family would appreciate if some of our members could provide Vigil Duty during the visitations next Monday September 20st (2:00-4:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm).  Members can also attend the funeral service in uniform Tuesday October 21st at 11:00am

 

Full dress uniform with medals and white gloves required for vigil duty members. Gloves will be made available as required.
