Visitation at the Neville Funeral Home, 491 Isabella Street, Pembroke on Tuesday, December 9th, 2025, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of the Neville Funeral Home, Pembroke on Wednesday, December 10th, 2025 at 11:30 a.m., followed by cremation. A Celebration of Mat’s life will follow at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 170 Ellis Ave, Pembroke. To honour Mat’s memory and his dedication to the fire service, the family asks that donations be made to the Ottawa First Responders Foundation, supporting mental-health programs for firefighters. All members not on duty for the Visitation and Funeral Service are encouraged to attend in full dress uniform. Your presence will honour Mats legacy, as well as provide comfort for his family.
Parking will be at a premium, please make use of the buses provided by the OPFFA, or plan to carpool.

If you sign up, and plans change, please let us know. We also encourage members not taking the bus to sign up to attend the funeral. This will assist Mats family in planning for the reception.
