Peacefully, with his family by his side, on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at the age of 80 years.

Beloved husband of 60 years to Christel “Chris” (née Ohmayer).  Loving father of Wendy and Tracy-Ann.  Cherished Poppa of Kristen, Rebecca, Kyle, Matthew and Darren.  Loving Great Grandfather of Caleb.  Dear brother of Maureen, Harry, Billy, Shelagh, and Terry.  Admired uncle to so many Nieces and Nephews

Predeceased by his parents William Ralph and Mabel Ralph (née Goodwin), and daughter Tracy-Ann Krista Ralph. 

A Family Service will be held on August 6, 2026. A celebration of life for friends and family will be held at a later date.  Arrangements entrusted to Cole Funeral Services at Highland Park Cemetery, 2037 McGee Side Road, Carp.    

In Memoriam, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to Diabetes Canada and is much appreciated. 

"Ronny" as he was fondly called, lived a life defined by service, strength, and unwavering devotion to the people he loved. He passed away at the age of 80, leaving behind a legacy that reaches far beyond the years he lived.

He was a devoted husband, a loving father, a proud grandfather and great-grandfather, a cherished brother, and a loyal friend to so many. Family was the foundation of his life, and he led by example every day.

For 36 years, he served his community as a firefighter, answering the call with courage, compassion, and quiet humility. Helping others wasn't simply his profession—it was part of who he was.

He was a kind and generous man with old-fashioned values that never went out of style. He believed in working hard, keeping your word, putting family first, and treating others with respect. He taught us that grit and determination could carry us through life's greatest challenges, and that true character is revealed not in what we say, but in what we do.

The lessons he passed on, the love he gave so freely, and the example he set will continue to guide our family for generations. Though we will miss his steady presence more than words can express, we find comfort in knowing that his strength, wisdom, and love live on in each of us.

We will remember him with deep gratitude, endless love, and immense pride. His life was one of purpose, and his legacy will never be forgotten.
