DEATH NOTICE: Hartley Sommerville, son of ROFFA member Mike Sommerville passed unexpectedly at age 26

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Hartley Joseph Sommerville on September 22, 2025 in Ottawa, Ontario, at the age of 26 years old. He is survived by his loving parents Mike and Mary Sommerville, his trusted and devoted sister, Danarae Sommerville, and adoring soulmate Emma Cragg. He was cherished by his extended family and circle of friends who shared in his joyful spirit and compassionate disposition.

Hartley was adventurous and free spirited. He took his zest for life where ever he went and touched many with his authenticity and big, open heart.

Hartley was a person with many talents who took effortlessly to almost anything. He was passionate about the world we live in and always strived to make it a better place or, at least make one more person smile. His awesome and fun-loving personality made this an easy accomplishment for Hartley. The world is a lesser place without him.
