DEATH NOTICE: Denis Gauvin, father of Captain Dan Gauvin (active OFS member) passed away

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Denis Gaston Gauvin announces his passing on September 12, 2025, at the age of 82.

Denis was predeceased by his beloved wife, Beatrice Gauvin (née Lapierre), and his parents, Benoit and Odile Gauvin (née Fournier).

He is lovingly remembered by his sons Mike Gauvin and Daniel Gauvin (Sophie Roy), and cherished by his grandchildren Jasmyn, Bryson, Riley, Brooklyn, Brooks, and Addison.

Denis is also survived by his brother Robert Gauvin, his sisters France Anctil and Gilberte Brochu, along with many extended family members and friends. He was predeceased by his brother Gilles Gauvin.

In keeping with Denis’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to M. John Sullivan Funeral Home (613-938-1039).
